Well i had the amazing experience of meeting Steven Assael and not only seeing some of his work but watching him work. He did a demo for my college art class and it was amazing. The man has been doing photorealistic drawings since before i was born and he is really good. If you havent seen his stuff you should check it out. (but be warned he does a lot of figure drawing so there is considerable nudity)
Anyway, I tell about this because it really inspired me to keep drawing. As i watched him work i realized that his methods and processes of drawing, the way he shades, and so on are somewhat similar to the methods and ways that i draw and shade. It made me happy. Whenever i start feeling bad or thinking that i suck at life there is always art to make me smile.
